WE WILL ALWAYS HAVE SOMEONE THERE: TRUMP ON AFGHAN TROOP EXIT-
US President Donald Trump has indicated that American forces will not completely remove from war-torn Afghanistan and America will have somebody there to make sure that the Taliban does not regain control. During the presidential election campaign in 2016, Trump had pledged to withdraw US troops from Afghanistan and end America's longest battle. The Trump administration has intensified its efforts to seek an arranged settlement of America's longest war. The Trump administration has sharpened its efforts to request a negotiated settlement of America's longest war in Afghanistan where the US has dead over 2,400 soldiers since late 2001 when it invaded the country later the 9/11 terror attacks. We will always have intelligence, and we'll always have intelligence, and we'll always have somebody there, "Trump told reporters at the Oval Office on Tuesday. He was answering questions on the ongoing peace talks with the Taliban in Afghanistan. Trump said he would like to look at different alternatives. One of the options is going on right now. We're talking about a plan -I don't know whether or not the plan is going to be acceptable to them. But we are talking. We have good lectures going, and we'll see what happens. This is additional than other presidents have done," he said. We have brought it down. We are bringing some of our troops back. But we have to have a presence, Trump said, ruling out a finish withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan. And if the Taliban incomplete and total control of Afghanistan?"Well, that's what we have to watch,'Trump answered. And if the Taliban were really right in what they're saying, they would stop that from happening very easily, he added. The US, he said, is not really fighting. It is nearly more of a police force over there."It's been so many years. We are like a police force. We are not assumed to be the police force," he added. Trump reiterated his claim that the US could win the war easily. We could win the war easily. We could win that war in a week if we desired to fight it. But I'm not looking to kill 10 million Afghans, because that's what would have to happen, and I'm not looking to do that.
US PRESIDENT ABANDONS DENMARK VISIT AFTER BEING REJECTED IN HIS ATTEMPT TO PURCHASE GREENLAND-
US President Donald Trump's decision to cancel a visit to Denmark next month after the prime minister described his plan Greenland as absurd took the Danish royal palace by surprise, a spokeswoman said Wednesday. Lene Balleby informs the Associated Press Wednesday that the news was amazing to the royal household, which formally had proposed Trump to visit Denmark Sep 2 and 3 as part of a European trip. She had no further comments. Denmark is a very exceptional country with incredible people but based on Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen's comments, that she would have no interest in debating the purchase of Greenland, I will be delaying our meeting scheduled in two weeks for another time," Trump said. Trump declared his decision by tweet after the Danish Prime Minister dismissed the notion of selling the semi-autonomous territory to the US as an absurd discussion. Later on Tuesday, Trump expressed his displeasure at the Danish Prime Minister's reaction. It was not a nice way of doing it. She could have just said no, we'd rather not do it, "Trump said."She's not speaking to me, she's talking to the United States of America."There was no instant reaction from the Danish government. Former government ministers were fast to speak out, however. Martin Lidegaard, a former foreign minister, told the broadcaster TV2 that it was "a diplomatic farce" and said Trump's behavior was deeply insulting to the people of Greenland and Denmark," erstwhile Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt.
TRUMP: DEMOCRAT-VOTING JEWS IGNORANT OR DISLOYAL-
Showing a fresh willingness to play politics along religious lines, US President Donald Trump said Jews who vote for Democrats show"either a total lack of knowledge edge or great disloyalty, Trump's declare triggered a quick uproar from critics who said the Republican president was dealing in anti-Semitic stereotypes. It came amid Trump's ongoing feud with Democratic Representatives Ilhan Omar of Minnesota and Rashida Tlaib of Michigan, who are Muslim. Trump has closely aligned himself with Israel, including conservative PM Benjamin Netanyahu, while the congress-women are outspoken critics of Israel's treatment of the Palestinians. Tlaib is a US-born Palestinian American; Omar was born in Somalia. Where has the Democratic Party gone? Where have they gone where they are safeguarding these two people over the state of Israel? Trump informed reporters in the Oval Office on Tuesday. I think any Jewish people that vote for a Democrat, I think it exhibits either a total lack of knowledge or great disloyalty."A number of Jewish groups noted that allegations of disloyalty have long been made against Jews, including in Europe during the 1930s. Ann Lewis and Mark Mellman of Democratic Majority for Israel labeled it"one of the most threatening, deadly accusations Jews have received over the years. Incorrect charges of disloyalty over the centuries have led to Jews being murdered, jailed and tortured."At Trump's urging, Israel last week blocked Omar and Tlaib from arriving the country.
CHILD MIGRANTS TO BE DETAINED LONGER UNDER LATEST US RULE-
The Trump administration on Wednesday unveiled new rules that would allow officials to detain migrant families indefinitely while judges consider whether to grant them asylum in the US. The new rules, which are certain to draw a legal challenge, would replace 1997 legal agreement that limits the amount of time US immigration authorities can detain migrant children. The agreement is normally interpreted as meaning families must be discharged within 20 days. Administration officials criticism the so-called Flores Settlement Agreement for a spike in immigration, saying it boosts migrants to bring children with them so they can be released into the US while their court cases are pending. Department of Homeland Security officials, speaking on the state of anonymity, said the new rule would have a deterrent effect by showing prospective immigrants that they will not necessarily get discharged into the country if they show up at the border with children. Families typically have to delay several months for their cases to work their way through immigration court, DHS officials said, and the new rule would allow DHS to keep those families at detention facilities. The American Academy of Pediatrics has repeatedly said that imprisonment is not suitable for children, who may suffer numerous negative physical and emotional symptoms. Officials said the families would experience mental health treatment and other services. Trump has constructed a crackdown on immigration, legal and illegal, central to his presidency.
