TO APPEAR OUT OF THE DARK, YOU MUST DELIVER  TANKER, BRITAIN TELLS IRAN-

The Defence Ministry said a second warship arrived in the Gulf to help the passage of UK-flagged ships through the strait.

Chinese leaders are withstanding US pressure to roll back plans for government-led evolution of industry leaders in robotics, artificial intelligence, and other technologies. Washington protests those efforts depend on stealing or forcing foreign companies to hand over technology. Some American officials trouble the US is losing its lead. For their part, American negotiators have withstood Beijing's demand that they detach all punitive tariffs immediately. Washington wants to keep some in place to protect China keeps its promises. Julian Evans-Pritchard of Capital Economics said the same issues that caused the talks to break down are still there. Evans-Pritchard neither side seems any closer to offering major concessions.
